The St. Charles Park District will receive separate sealed bids until 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at the Pottawatomie Community Center, 8 North Avenue, St. Charles, Illinois, for the Pottawatomie Bathroom and Locker Room.
This project generally consists of but not limited to: All materials and labor necessary to demolish and reconstruct the existing restroom and locker room facilities as noted in the provided Project Manual and Drawings at Pottawatomie Community Center facility located at 8 North Avenue, St. Charles, IL 60174 owned and operated by the St. Charles Park District.

The above bids will be opened and read publicly at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at the Pottawatomie Community Center.
Specifications require the submittal of a 10% Bid Surety with the proposal. In addition, the successful contractor(s) must be able to provide a satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and required proof of insurance following the award of a contract.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and walk-through for General Contractors will be held at 9:00 AM, Central Standard Time (CST), on Friday, August 1, 2025, at the Pottawatomie Community Center located at 8 North Avenue, St. Charles, IL.
The St. Charles Park District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any proposals which, in its judgment, will be to the best interest of the Park District. Only bids in compliance with the provisions of the specifications will be considered.
All bidders must comply with the applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of Kane County prevailing wages by all contractors working on public projects, and bidders must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor and bidding, including Equal Opportunity Laws.
